Job Title: Stock Assistant

Job Descriptions

• As a Stock Assitant, you are responsible for tracking and replenishing merchandise in a retail establishment.
• You would ensure that inventory levels stay within appropriate guidelines.
• Minimize shrinkage by ensuring that inventory is not stolen, destroyed, lost or counted incorrectly.
• These workers must be detail-oriented since their job requires them to keep track of a large amount of diverse products.
• They must be commercially minded, having in view, to maximise organisational profits through efficient handling of stock.
• The incumbent must possess strong computer skills as the organisation operates a sophisticated perpetual inventory system. Strong team building skills are also required.
