The MeatLockers Cold Store is a frozen food store that sells frozen foods and grills in Lagos, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Store Manager

Job Location: Bariga, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
The role holder is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cold store and kitchen, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff.
• Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Train, and oversee new staff.
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
• Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
• Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
• Monitor inventory levels and order new items.
• Handle social media accounts
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum of HND
• 1-2 years proven work experience in a similar role. Experience working at a cold store is an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Customer management abilities
• Must be assertive with good leadership skills
• Must be a team player
• Ability to work on weekends
• Candidate must reside within Bariga, Yaba or Shomolu axis.
