Job Position: Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator

General Summary
- The Supply Chain/Logistics Coordinatorwill monitor port activities leading up to the arrival of all new shipments and the discharge of raw materials from the vessels to the warehouses.
- S/he must have experience in port monitoring services, Warehouse Management, and inventory management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitoring the arrival of each vessel, obtaining details about the vessel and the number of raw materials received.
- Work in close collaboration with the authorized port clearing agents and relevant staff of the port authority.
- Documenting all information relating to the quantity of the raw materials discharged from each vessel and the number of raw materials transported to various warehouses and transmitting all gathered information to the Project Management Team.
- Monitor all raw material deliveries to various warehouses, ensuring optimal stacking patterns.
- Ensure the adequacy of the storage facilities and make observations about lighting conditions and dryness of storage space to ensure the raw materials do not encounter water or any form of moisture.
- Ensure the physical safety of the inventory and formulate strategies to guard against theft and physical damage.
- Maintain adequate documentation of all inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and provide adequate supporting documents such as Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and corresponding waybill documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. An advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Warehouse Management with port monitoring services and inventory management services experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics Certifications.
- Excellent people management and coordination skills.
