The U.S. Mission to Nigeria comprises of the Embassy in Abuja, FCT, and the Consulate General in Lagos. U.S. Consulate General Lagos is the Mission’s representative to the Nigerian people in the southern region.

Summary
- The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Duties
Basic Function:
- This incumbent manages the delivery, issuance, storage, disposal and inventory control of expendable supplies.
- The position is in the General Services Section and under the supervision of the GSO Supply Supervisor.
- This position is characterized with providing support to medium size posts.
- This position is characterized as providing support to medium size posts with no Property Supervisor.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
- Completion of High School or Secondary is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Knowledge of supply chain, warehousing operations and/or property/expendables management.
- Knowledge of local vendors and their procedures.
- Knowledge in computerized inventory and stock control data programs.
- Knowledge of SHEM safety guidelines.
Evaluations:
- This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.
Language:
- Good working knowledge of speaking / writing / speaking English is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong recordkeeping, technical, and administrative skills, and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid, class B driver’s license.
- Computer competencies including basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23kg) under OSHA standards.

Agency Benefits:
- Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Abuja, Nigeria may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
- For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
- The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

Salary
USD $32,357 (NGN 4,007,848) annually.
