We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: System Administrator
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Providing tiered support for applications and services both cloud and on-premise.
• Strive to be the "subject matter expert" on those systems.
• Act as systems/security administrator for applications and services.
• Maintain application compliance via configuration, patching, updates, etc.
• Assist in pre-install taskings like scoping, sizing, planning, networking, etc. for potential new applications and services.
• Support integration efforts between applications and services. (APIs, Data File Transfer, etc.)
• Support activities to integrate new companies and employees into existing services.
• Develop application/service training, as needed, for users.
• Maintain documentation for support, usage, and compliance for applications/services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / MSc / HND / OND in a relevant field
• 2+ years experience with the administration of multiple applications. Activities like setup, permission setting, troubleshooting, configuration, backups, etc.
• 2+ years of experience with scripting languages and/or automation tools
• 2+ years experience with operating systems administration (macOS and Linux)
• 2+ years of help desk experience with platforms such as Jira Service Desk.
• Familiarity with remote system access tools. (Both graphical and terminal).
• Familiarity with Hypervisors such as Proxmox, VMWare, and/or VirtualBox.
