Medbury Pharmaceuticals is a division of Medbury Healthcare that specializes in producing high-value medications and distributing a variety of internationally acclaimed products locally. MedPharma also provides direct procurement and supply of pharmaceuticals, as well as technologically enabled vendor management inventory solutions and group purchasing services.

Our products are manufactured in factories that hold CE, ISO, and TVU certifications, and are registered with NAFDAC in compliance with regulations. Additionally, our indigenous drug products are produced through contract manufacturing arrangements with experienced and NAFDAC-approved companies, and manufactured under strict hygienic conditions and GMP guidelines.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Compliance Officer to join our team. The Tech Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our technology systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes areas such as data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and software licensing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance issues and risks.
  • Coordinate with IT teams, legal departments, and senior management to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on IT compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulators as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CIPP, CCEP) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX).
  • Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
