Thrift Officer Job at Operation Smile Foundation (OSF)

Operation Smile Foundation (OSF) provides basic business Credit extension in a manner that, the under employed and marginalized rural and urban groups and individuals can create or expand their businesses by planning and managing themselves to generate income for their families/households. The objective is to liberate rural women and youth from economic marginalization in a manner that they would own their means of livelihood.


We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Thrift Officer

Job Location: Imo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting: Thrift Officers report directly to the operations manager.

Job Objective

  • To contribute to the institutional development and corporate image of Operation Smile Foundation, through sustained regular contact with their customers by providing quality services to satisfy the customers.

Duties

  • To ensure that depositors (members) receive confirmation for their deposit.
  • To submit daily savings deposit to the I.T unit for documentation.
  • To ensure that daily savings deposit are also submitted to the account department for filing.
  • To mobilize daily savings for operation smile foundation members
  • To inform entrepreneurs about OSF products and encourage them to become members.
  • To deposit daily savings collected into OSF designated bank account.
  • To maintain privacy of the customer.
  • To ensure to meet/reach set targets.
  • To carry out other duties as maybe assigned by the OSF/operations manager.
