Job Position: Treasury Officer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Treasury Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s financial activities to ensure optimal liquidity, efficient use of resources, and effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the organization's daily cash positions.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with debt covenants and maintain relationships with lenders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury functions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Optimize the organization’s cash resources to meet both short-term and long-term financial obligations.
• Oversee the issuance, repayment, and management of corporate debt.
• Develop strategies for debt financing and refinancing to minimize costs.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Participate in the development of the organization’s financial strategies.
• Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures.
• Ensure that treasury activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, Forex and Form M.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Work Environment:

• Mon –Sat (8pm-6pm) However Saturday is one day on, one day off.

Salary
N150,000 / Month.
