We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: UI / UX Designer

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

• As the UI/UX Designer you will be reporting to the Tech lead and assist in the delivery of digital creativity.
• You will be integral to the delivery of the brands creative output, working directly with the Product Manager and relevant external agencies and internal copywriters.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively generate ideas for the brand, visualise and present to the wider team
• Design and build animated display banner campaigns using Adobe Animate.
• Have the ability to edit/resize images and MP4 video/ audio.
• Collaborate with team members as a designer.
• Pragmatically approach projects to ensure both creative and business needs are met.
• Design static website hero banners, CRM banners, web landing pages and after-effect animations for social media digital banners.
• Design and prototype web apps from wireframes to high fidelity mock-ups implementing proper User flow.
• Design creative in print work (branded merchandise, direct mailers etc).
• Have a good understanding of UX/UI design principals.
• Presenting of ideas internally and to management.
• Regularly collaborate with the marketing/social media department.
• Keeping Project management team well briefed on current timings, status and potential issues.
• Produce internal and social media promotional materials.

Skills and Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND or Master's Degree qualification
• At least 3 years of experience designing, building and producing digital static and animated display and social banners, web banners, web apps and CRM images within a fast-paced design environment.
• Strong digital ideations skills, used to developing visual concepts mainly on your own, but occasionally with copywriters.
• Ability to hit the ground running, is proactive, a conceptual designer and an innovator with knowledge and experience across all digital platforms.
• Experience using Adobe Creative suite, Figma as well as After Effects is a pre-requisite for this role.
• Possess a solid portfolio and show a diverse range of styles, skills and creative abilities.
• Experience across Global markets.
• Ability to collaborate on projects with teams as a designer but also act to ensure that creative and innovative standards are upheld, and creative boundaries pushed.
• Your role is supported by other designers, the brand team, Product Manager and vice versa, with you being responsible for monitoring your timings, schedules, briefs and following up tasks that are set, Quality Assurance and adhering to the team’s schedule.
• You will also need to be familiar with workflow management systems like JIRA, as you will be required to use this software for all d2d work and to record time spent on briefs etc

Salary
N150,000 / month.
