Job Description


  • We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products.
  • UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphics elements and building navigation components.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that include work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how an application would look ad function
  • Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers.
  • Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
  • Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc.)
  • Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role
  • Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
  • Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
  • Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Flinto, Principle, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz, Framer or Maze.
  • Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript.
  • Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
  • Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
