Job Position: Visual Graphic Designer

About the Job

• We are looking for a full-time Visual Graphic Designer who will be responsible for designing and maintaining the visual aspects of a company’s brand across each of the platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and create visually appealing designs, layouts, and artwork for print and digital media.
• Develop and design logos, branding materials, brochures, flyers, advertisements, social media graphics, website graphics, and other promotional materials.
• Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
• Stay updated with design trends, techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance design skills and efficiency.
• Coordinate with printers, vendors, or production teams to ensure accurate and high-quality output of printed materials.
• Research and gather relevant information, images, and materials to support design concepts.
• Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch) to create and manipulate graphics, illustrations, and typography.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively convey the desired message or purpose.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs based on client or team input.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain an organised file management system for design assets and project files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar creative role.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Sketch, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
• Excellent creativity and artistic ability to develop unique and visually compelling designs.
• Solid knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision, ensuring accuracy in design execution.
• Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and demonstrating a high level of proficiency and creativity.
