Web Developer & Digital Marketer

Job Summary

Our company is the owner of the biggest School Support Centre in Nigeria and we are currently looking for a Web Developer & Digital Marketer who will be responsible for managing multi-platform applications for online learning and customer loyalty rewards system for our school support centre. The primary focus will be on creating new experiences & maintaining existing platforms. Deep experience managing & marketing high-scale LMS platforms, uplodaing content, fix bugs, managing users & marketing the company products and brand are essential attributes and skills.

Job Description

• Work with platform development teams and product managers to ideate solutions that meet both technical and consumer needs, from conception to finish.
• Must be able to manage efficient databases, sites, platforms, server-side applications, and test the design and the efficiency of codes by using best software development practices.
• Day-to-day proactive monitoring, including monitoring error logs, database and log space, user activity, and resource utilization.
• Integrate data and content from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create, teach and maintain software documentation.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, marketing and scaling our websites, platforms and products.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
• Cooperate with web developers to match visual design intent.
• Must be able to fix bugs and convert UI mock-ups to its resulting HTML template with a very high-level accuracy.
• Must be able to market our products, brand, sites and platforms digitally.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision and must be a strong respecter of timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Qualification: HND
• Experience Level: Entry-level
• Experience Length: 3 years
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Good at front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.JS, React and Node.JS.
• Fair knowledge of server-side languages like Java, PHP, .NET, C#, Python and Ruby.
• Good knowledge and utility of database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Web and Application servers such as HTTP server, ASP.NET, PHP server, JSP server, Python and Ruby servers.
• Knowledge of data structures, system design and algorithms.
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of online marketing channels.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to details.
• Excellent communications skills.

Salary Range:  NGN 75,000 - 100,000
