This consumer revolution paved the way for Veepee to enter into a complete range of products and solutions in the Flexible Packaging industry including , Printing, Corrugated paper products, Printing cylinder engravings, Printing Inks & Resins etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Workshop Supervisor (Cylinder Making Unit)

Job Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun

Job Description

• The Workshop Supervisor primarily is responsible for production of base shells used for cylinder making.
• Receiving/checking of various materials like pipes, flanges, shafts, rods etc. needed for base shell making
• Understanding/checking of the drawings of the bases to be produced.
• Operation/ Calibration/ maintenance various machines used manufacturing base shells such as:
  • CNC lathe machine.
  • Dynamic balancing machine
  • Flange making machine
  • Keyway making machine.
  • Ordinary Lathe machine
  • Welding machine
• Inspection / QC of the bases produced in the workshop.
• Generating reports for Production/Inspection/ QC
• Planning and scheduling of various bases for production.
• Co-coordinating production with other departments.
• Initiating purchase of various items required for production
• Upkeep and calibration of equipment used in the workshop.

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma, OND, HND, B.SC in Mechanical Engineering.
• More than five (5) Years’ experience in production base shells / Precision machinery parts using CNC lathes machines / Dynamic balancing machines.

Job Requirements / Specification:

• Must be able to prepare and submit in time periodic reports relating to job function.
• Must have specific training related to base shell used for cylinder making.
• Knowledge Safety legislation.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Must be willing to relocate.

Salary
N300,000 to N360,000 gross per month.
