The News Chronicle is an Abuja-based online newspaper. Starting first as an online publication, The News Chronicle will also encourage Nigerians to strive to their own highest ideals, and to make themselves the starting point of that change they pontificate and pray about. We will, without apologies, look out for the underdogs to ensure that there is a level of justice and fairness for them in a very unjust and unfair world. This, in our opinion, is basically what journalism at its best does, everything else falls between.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Writer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be a graduate of the Social Sciences or Arts and the Humanity and will have at least two years of experience of working as a print journalist.
• He/she will have a high level of expression in the English language (both written and verbal) and must have an exceptional ability to turn any material into an appealing article with no grammatical errors.
• They should also have the ability to work in a team and be able to meet deadlines in a friendly but high-pressured work environment.

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 / month.
