We are currently resourcing for the above mentioned role and the successful applicant will be saddled with the following responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, coordinates and directs start-up activities for the CPP. 
• Provides supervision assistance for start-up at the site.
• Assists with the identification of hand over systems and the establishment of priorities and sequence of completion.
• Reviews during the construction phase, the status of testing and punch listing to ensure systems are turned over to commissioning and start-up in a smooth, safe and efficient manner.
• Interfaces with Client’s operation staff and keep them informed of system completion status.
• Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned engineers, estimates staffing needs and schedules, and assign work to meet commissioning completion dates.
• Prepares or directs the preparation of testing and commissioning reports for all systems.
• Ensures that work being performed is within scope of services, timely and within budget.
• Inputs to project management, engineering, and construction to ensure start-up requirements are incorporated into power plant project activities, including review of project designs and construction to ensure plant operability and operating personnel safety.
• Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approval on work as it is accomplished.
• Reviews and approves key start-up methods, procedures, and schedules on assigned power plant project.
• Establishes contact with client management at key points throughout project commissioning phase to ensure that start-up aspects are meeting client’s requirements.
• Prepares all testing and commissioning reports to meet client’s acceptable standard and ensures timely delivery and acceptance.

• Performs any other work as may be assigned by management.
