Job Position: Product Analyst (Fintech)
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full Time | Remote


Responsibilities

  • Empower product teams to easily make data-informed decisions via self-serve solutions such as visualizations, dashboards, and automated data models
  • Collaborate on a cross-functional level to define, track and monitor metrics for tactical and strategic needs
  • Design and conduct experiments to measure the impact of existing and new product features
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics and Marketing teams to solve scaling challenges and to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
  • Research and implement new operational tools and processes to accelerate and streamline product delivery and user experience
  • Shape actionable recommendations about complex issues critically and concisely
  • Provide insights in the form of recommendations and action items to ad-hoc analyses (e.g., to increase X, we have to do Y)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, cross-functional project management in a software development company, or strategy consulting
  • 3+ years of operational experience at a fast-growing tech company, in a highly agile, project-based environment
  • Solid track record of driving complex projects with many stakeholders to success
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical experience
  • Experience in product analytics and BI tools?
  • Curious, structured thinker, strong communicator

Job Position: Customer Experience Manager (Financial Services)

  • Our client is currently looking to hire a Customer Experience Manager to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • They provide an ecosystem of connected financial services that allows the customer complete control of their finances all in one App.
  • You will be part of the Customer Success Team who advises and guides a wide variety of customers, ensuring they are set up correctly with accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Product and Data Science teams
  • Provide customer plans for 2nd, 3rd, 4th advances etc., while helping clients identify areas where they could improve their use of Wayflyer analytics.
  • Be part coach, project manager, consultant and product expert, Customer Success Managers are continually focused on helping customers improve their personal financial goals and figuring out the best ways to use the clients’ services.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Empathize with every aspect of the customer experience, putting customers’ needs first.
  • Guide and coach customers with a dedicated customer success process.

Requirements
The ideal candidate:

  • At least 3 years of previous customer service experience
  • Knowledge working on Zendesk will be considered a bonus
  • Proficient computer skills and tech-savvy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have a proactive approach to work and have the ability to find solutions to difficult problems
  • Experience in Google Ads and Facebook is a bonus.

Job Position: Head of Desk (Fintech / Cryptocurrency)

Job Description

  • Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
  • Our client is seeking to employ a Head of Desk - Africa to join their rapidly growing team in Nigeria. You will head up the African-based trading/dealing desk.
  • The ideal individual will be someone with a network in the African crypto-asset ecosystem who can build relationships and partnerships with multiple trading counterparties as we execute on our African roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of the African trading desk and implementing/managing the entire trading workflow.
  • Provide timely and accurate execution of trades (FX & crypto) for the company’s corporate clients.
  • Working closely with the Global Head of Trading to source and manage trading counterparty relationships in Africa.
  • Taking responsibility for the African desks net trading revenue.
  • Developing and implementing new risk management frameworks, processes, and best practices.
  • Identifying & analyzing trading opportunities across core African markets (arbitrage etc.)
  • Overseeing and reporting on trading activities (volumes & margins) for the African region.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and systems.
  • Working with several key stakeholders in the business on new/existing projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, and / or related field.
  • Fluent in English with strong analytical ability.
  • CFA would be an advantage.
  • 4-7 years’ experience working for a regulated financial institution (bank or broker-dealer), fintech or crypto-asset business.
  • Cryptoasset trading experience (personally or professionally) will be advantageous.

Work Condition

  • Working Hours: Crypto is a 24 / 7 market and will require non-traditional working hours (outside of normal 8:00 - 17:00) and the occasional weekend shift.
