Job Description

  • As an HR Business Partner you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • To work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation.
  • To work closely with the business and help implement the business strategy from a people perspective.
  • Offer solution in employee related issues and policies
  • Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy
  • Question and challenge others to get to the root of people and business issues
  • Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
  • Develop solutions through organizational development, cultural and process?oriented perspectives.
  • Build effective partnership on all levels of the team and successfully implement programs that drive business results.
  • Analyse business unit trends and metrics in partnership with HR cross functional resources to develop solutions, programs and policies to improve HR’s contribution to the organization’s goals
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning and other areas of Talent Management
  • Partner with both the business unit and HR to assess and effectively address human resources needs in areas such as organizational design, manning needs,  performance management, talent selection, employee relations and compensation, and career, competency and leadership development
  • Ensure the hotel comply with Federal and local laws
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs and communicate those needs proactively within the partnering leadership team
  • Identify top potentials ready now for critical positions and contribute to the effective utilization of best talent across different functions in the organization
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs; may participate or drive coaching with the leader(s)
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs’ success. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Lead and facilitate change initiatives
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to design succession plans for key talent and key job roles
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and / or related field
  • Three or more years of experience in similar or related role in HR
  • Proven ability to establish strong, influential relationships with all levels in and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data, and develop solutions
  • Proven ability to effectively and clearly convey ideas verbally and in writing
  • Solid experience in organization design, talent management, learning and development, and change strategies

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • 3 years working within an internal consulting or Organizational Development function
