Job Position: Junior Data Scientist / Data Analyst
Job Location: Anthony Village, Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for bright young candidates who have the four qualities of great data scientists - creativity, tenacity, curiosity, and technical skills.
• They will use these skills in data gathering and data mining, visualization, machine learning, and computer programming to make data-driven decisions and data-driven products:
• Translate business goals and research questions into data discovery analysis, results, and prototype modelling output.
• Design and implement software engines to construct intelligent knowledge from structured and unstructured data sources (e.g., email, chats, documents, etc.)
• Design and implement a fast and efficient data process of ‘big data' using state-of-the-art techniques (e.g., NoSQL, in memory, etc.)
• Tell Stories with Data.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst & Data Scientist
• Good knowledge and experience in Python Programing Language and its application for Data Science
• Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques
• A knack for statistical analysis and predictive modelling
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent communication skills and a Business Mindset
• Candidate should have strong problem-solving, project management, and statistical analysis abilities.
• Proficiency in Python packages such as Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, Scipy, and TensorFlow Lite
• Experience with Natural Language Processing, Data Analysis, Data Collection, Data Cleaning, and Web Scraping.
