Job Position: HSSE Supervisor

Purpose Statement

  • To monitor and implement Asharami Energy’s  HSSE policy and Management System in order to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and environment for all operations (Drilling, Completion and Production).

Key Deliverables


  • Review/Develop   where necessary contractors’ work method statement, JHA, HSSE plans, Bridging document, emergency response plan, HSE MS, HSE Cases, work procedures etc.
  • Provide HSSE consultation and support for Operations Team.
  • Develop drilling/completion/production safety manuals and protocols for SEFL
  • Support behavior based safety observation programs by coaching and identifying areas for improved safety behaviors and practices.
  • Support development of HSSE practices and behaviors required for effective HSSE management within operations.
  • Participate in facility orientation briefings for all new personnel immediately upon their arrival.
  • Lead site roll out efforts of Company Group or safety enabling initiatives.
  • Regularly present HSE related topics and safety meetings to workers to encourage awareness.
  • Liaise with Contractors Safety Advisor, Tool Pusher and Company man to increase HSSE standards, procedures and awareness.
  • Understand and maintain the facility’s bridging documents between company and Contractor safety management systems.
  • Coordinate with contractor safety personnel to understand safety performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
  • Participate and audit job-planning activities, including Permit to Work, JSA’s and hazard recognition.
  • Participate in facility Safety Committees.
  • Conduct monthly self-verification reviews of key HSSE systems.
  • Communicate with and receive guidance from HSSE Manager.
  • Ensure incidents are reported on time, properly investigated and lessons learned are shared.
  • Communicate pertinent best practices, lessons learned, safety and environmental alerts to rig/operational staff.
  • Assist the crews in taking action to prevent recurrence of incidents.
  • Be an onsite technical safety resource for Incident Commander for all field contingency actions as well as assist and participate in the execution of periodic drills.
  • Assure facility appointed incident investigation teams identify root cause factors (Taproot processes or equivalent) and preventive measures are delivered.
  • Prepare and submit reports following the appropriate procedure and guideline as and when required

Job Position: Senior Contracts Engineer

Purpose Statement

  • The role is responsible for conducting reviews and considering legal aspects of contract award & administration
  • This role is also responsible for preparing and drafting commercial bids and tenders, estimating the costs of a project and ensuring that the costs are controlled.

Purpose Statement

  • To provide top quality seismic interpretation skills for geological and geophysical evaluation in identifying leads, maturing prospects and adding reserves through successful exploration discoveries and field development

Key Deliverables

  • Provide quality control of team output and databases in areas of specific expertise.

Purpose Statement

  • The role provides the linkage and understanding of production optimization and initiations within the subsurface and the surface production disciplines to understand the happenings down-hole and its relation to surface well behaviors, beyond the process separators.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead  the Production Data Management for Petroleum Engineering Department and Champion Hydrocarbon Accounting Implementation / Reconciliations
  • Deliver well & completions designs for all wells, Production optimization and multi?discipline projects in accordance with World Class Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and Intervention projects in accordance with World Class Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and Intervention Processes, and the deliverables set by client requirements to optimize Oil & Gas recovery
  • Significantly contribute to/ lead the delivery of quality reservoir development studies, field development plan (FDP), the Identification of production improvement opportunities and production optimization studies in conjunction with reservoir engineers, petro physicists and production geologists.
  • Well surveillance – Well Performance monitoring, Monitoring and follow-up/resolution of Production deferment issues, Bean-up candidates identification/ follow-up for execution.

Key Deliverables

  • Manage Exploration, PED, G&G database, including well, boreholes, drill-hole, geochemical, geotechnical and related data.

Purpose Statement

  • The role identifies and quantifies hydrocarbon resources in the subsurface and evaluates the nature and distribution of rock properties and formation fluids over the life cycle of reservoirs.

Key Deliverables

  • Deliver Open Hole Log Answer Products as inputs for Volumetrics and Reserve data
  • Deliver Cased Hole Answer Products for Re-Completions and Well diagnostics for Sub-optimal Reservoir performance
  • Deliver Petrophysical Answer Products for rig operations, mud gas, and Gas Chromatographs Analyses.

Purpose Statement

  • This recruitment is necessary in offering field supervisory assistance/support in Asharami Energy for the supervision of multiple projects that has been captured in the development plan of OML 148 and other prospects in Sahara Upstream.

Key Deliverables:

  • Provision of adequate supervisory support to all Civil Engineering/Technical personnel attached to manage all existing/new facilities within the field.
  • Assist in the development, execution and coordination of all Civil/Structural and Facilities engineering activities for the purpose of concept evaluation, concept definition (FEED), detailed design, construction and asset integrity for both onshore and off-shore projects.
  • Contribute to research and Development, standardization, simplification and knowledge sharing within the department.

Purpose Statement

  • To  develop reliable subsurface reservoir models and provide field life update for the reservoirs that make the development Plan and development Drilling and Completions.

Key Deliverables:

  • Build and update static earth and reservoir models, the essential member of well planning, field development activities, planning & monitoring operational activities across company’s asset locally and internationally
  • Input to geological projects and studies and integrate study results in to field development models
  • Perform model building and uncertainty modelling to ensure consistent models that are fit for purpose for Well re-entry plans, well intervention plans, Exploration and development drilling, and is essential for Full Field Development planning. Primary Liaison with Senior Reservoir engineer to ensure proper links between static model and dynamic model work as well work and drilling progress.
  • Provision critical input to field data gathering and reservoir monitoring program
  • Present results internally to management and externally to partners (government and other third parties). Liaise with partners to resolve technical issues.
  • Help build and maintain accurate and comprehensive databases of data gathered in conjunction with Geoscience team members.
  • Evaluate and communicate geological uncertainties feeding into additional data acquisition plans and capture in uncertainty analysis and reservoir modelling.
  • Prepare supporting documentation on infill or further development drilling opportunities, including budgets, presentations, well proposals, well AFE’s and well diaries as required.
  • Align technical activities with business objectives to ensure timely delivery of fit for purpose solutions.
  • Reinforce best practices in Geomodeling techniques and Petrel workflows in subsurface/Geoscience team
  • Provide high quality geological evaluations, reservoir and well correlations to the Development Team.
  • Define field data acquisition programs & field monitoring, including Wireline, LWD, coring and fluid sampling in collaboration with other members of the team.
  • Provide technical assistance to other Subsurface team members

Minimum Qualification/ Experience

  • B.Sc Geology, Geophysics, or Petroleum-Geoscience,
  • Minimum of 10 years of core experience in Geomodeling / Production Geoscience / Static Modelling  experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Petrel and / Or CMG/Jewel Suite
