Job Position: Operations Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct operations team to achieve the business goals and targets.
• Assist in developing/ updating standard operating procedures for the business operational activities.
• Stand in as the primary point of contact between the corporate head office and the operations on site
• Maintain accurate documentation for operational procedures and activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry and company policies and standards.
• Develop and manage budget and operational expenses, oversee proposal development bid packages and subcontractor agreements.
• Provide cost and risk management
• Provide regular reports to the top management to show the efficient performance of the site within the budget in a timely fashion.
• Direct the planning and execution of maintenance & major shutdowns and approving plans, tender packages, bid evaluation, and recommending contract awards as appropriate.
• Effectively maintain internal and external communications with clients, regulatory bodies, internal departments and management.
• Developing and monitoring the operational expenses.
• Taking corrective actions to rectify variances.
• Ensure that adequate safety norms are deployed by site personnel.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng or MBA Degree with 2-4 years of work experience.
