Job Position: Finance Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical finance operations, including processing, and recording of transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.
  • Gather and monitor financial data like sales revenues and liabilities.
  • Ensure that all financial records are updated.
  • Reconciles transaction information collated to the bank statements to ensure that client’s mandates are executed
  • Performs monthly bank statements reconciliation
  • Prepares payment requisition documents and invoices for authorization
  • Responsible for checking out customer transactions, ensuring that they are properly captured and recorded.
  • Keeps proper records of receipts and payments
  • Promptly prepares requisitions for office and other routine supply purchases
  • Promptly posts data collected from the sales team
  • Reconciling and balancing all financial records.
  • Disbursing funds necessary for office operations e.g., transport and office supplies.
  • Liaise with the sales department to reconcile payables and receivables.
  • Track and confirm payments from customers and any other bank activity.
  • Monitor and report on any account discrepancies.
  • Disburse payments approved by management for any benefits of all staff
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Perform an internal check to substantiate financial statements and transactions.
  • Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases
  • Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
  • Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
  • 2+ years' Accounting experience
  • At least 1-year post-NYSC experience.

Skills:

  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Financial / commercial management exposure
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS-Excel
  • Knowledge of codes and standards as well as safety and regulatory requirements applicable to business needs.

Job Position: Human Resource Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Aligns the workforce with the strategic goals of the company through the development and administration of HR policies
  • Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Responsible for collating all staff credentials, creating a file for each, staff, issuing warning letters (queries) to erring staff, and documenting them
  • Execute different functions about employee training, evaluation, and conducting other training programs
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring performance standards of every employee in line with the company’s policies
  • Review employee handbook and make recommendations for changes required
  • Monitor compliance by staff to the employee handbook
  • To inculcate personal development among all the employees
  • To ensure the safety and welfare of the staff
  • Record punctuality, document absences, and tardiness, and evaluate employee work performance
  • To develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Oversees the HR programs and see to it that the same is well implemented, monitors the standards and procedure as well as identifies improvements for the administration of the company
  • Monitors and keep track of the budget of the HR department and make sure that it includes all the necessary expenses of the department and company as a whole
  • Conduct research to establish strong pay practices and incentive systems to retain staff

  • Properly handle complaints, and disputes, providing resolution for conflicts & negotiations and directing disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent Degree
  • Relevant certifications in project planning and HR is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Proven experience with administering large teams
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
