Job Summary

• We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy.
• Reviewing or updating supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
• Determining key supply chain KPIs.
• Developing material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
• Suggesting solutions for process improvements.
• Assessing appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
• Training and evaluating others.
• Managing activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
• Providing constructive feedback.
• Working with finance, sales, and production team to determine best vendors and distributors
• Building and maintaining good relationships with vendors.
• Working with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers.
• Planning and implementing logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.
• Using computer software to track goods from origin to delivery.
• Working on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance.
• Managing and motivating a team of supply chain staff.
• Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends in the sector.

Requirements

• MBA / M.SC in Business Management, Finance, or similar relevant field.
• Supply Chain Management certification is strongly preferred.
• Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for at least 6 years.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.
• Ability to manage logistics and all aspects of supply chain from manufacturing to shipment of finished goods.
