Kampala International University (KIU), founded in August, 2001, is a chartered private university in Uganda and a member of the Inter University Council of East Africa, Association of African Universities, and the Association of Common Wealth Universities. KIU offers excellent academic programmes and a vibrant education at its main Campus in Kampala located along Kansanga, Ggaba road, and the Western Campus in Ishaka-Bushenyi (about 360km from Kampala).
