Accountant / Internal Auditor Job in Lagos

We are a firm that deals in sales of new and used laptops and desktops and we are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant / Internal Auditor

Job Location: Oba-Akran - Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare and manage budget forecasts.
• Prompt Publishing of financial statements
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts bank, payable and receivable.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Prepare Sales Invoices.
• Liaise with relevant agencies and external personnels
• Train and supervise staff.
• Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.

Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant Degree
• 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Having completed ACCA or CPA qualifications.
• Previous work experience as an Accountant or Auditor for a minimum period of 3 years.
• Detailed Knowledge of Microsoft office, QuickBooks and other basic accounting software packages will be an added advantage.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Leadership ability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Familiarity with Information Technology business and financial principles.
• Team player.
• Preferably a Female for gender balancing.
