We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Administrative and Support Assistant

Duration: 6 months’ renewable    

Duties

  • Perform general secretarial duties, including correspondence, managing schedules and maintaining records.
  • Facilitate office administration by organizing files, coordinating office supplies and maintaining inventory for stationery
  • and related items.
  • Process travel advances and related documentation for the unit’s staff in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate meetings by scheduling, preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Handle Oracle requests, including approval follow-ups and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock inventory and ensure adequate replenishment of stationery and related supplies.
  • Provide support for other administrative tasks as needed to ensure seamless operation within the unit. 
  • Handle confidential project information and documents with the utmost discretion and adhere to established confidentiality protocols.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements                

  • B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies
The ideal candidate must:

  • Be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & ERP systems.
  • Have strong organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Have experience in handling administrative functions.
  • Have problem-solving mind-set with attention to detail.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
