Big Engineering Group LLC is recruiting to fill the vacant position of: 

Position: Architect

in: Lagos Island

What we require from you:

• B.Arch /M.E.D/M.Tech Degree
• MNIA(Member of Nigerian Institute of Architects) /ARCON (Architects Registration Council of Nigeria) membership- added advantage
• Knowledge of design development & techniques
• AutoCAD & REVIT design tools
• Knowledge of materials & methodologies of Building Construction
• Must be able to work under pressure, lead and Supervise, work with people, present and communicate information, apply expertise and technology, analyze projects, etc

Job Description:

• The Architect is responsible for design and supervision of construction work combined with high level design & draughting skills to develop building plans that incorporate functionality, aesthetics and safety. Part of an overall project team working closely with other professionals of the building industry.
• Articulation of clients' briefs and development of conceptual designs
• Communicating design ideas through computer- aided design (CAD) applications, REVIT packages and clear free hand sketches
• Development of 3D images
• Meeting with clients to discuss and update them about progress of design work and reviewing the design to incorporate clients' comments and change of requests
• Development and draughting of general arrangement construction drawings and schedules
• Carries out supervisory role during construction in adapting plans according to budget constraints, environmental factors or clients needs
