We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Assistant Accountant

Job Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job


  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of Grain warehouse operations, including setting controls, monitoring inventory, supporting aggregation and storage processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.   

The Job

  • Implement financial control measures to monitor spending and optimize costs across warehouse operations.  
  • Implement and maintain control systems to monitor aggregation and storage operations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.  
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records, identifying discrepancies for prompt escalation and resolution.  
  • Monitor and update inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained for operational efficiency.  
  • Track and analyze costs associated with the aggregation, storage, and movement of seeds to ensure cost-effectiveness  
  • Prepare regular financial reports related to warehouse operations, including inventory valuations, stock movement, and cost analysis.  
  • Collaborate with HQ. finance team to ensure proper documentation and reporting of all warehouse financial activities.  
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and audit requirements related to warehouse operations.  

Qualification

  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings / NABTEB / Trade test. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience.
