Job Position: Card Operations Officer

Role Overview

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Card Operations Officer to support the card issuance & vendor management processes.

Responsibilities
Card Issuance and Management:

  • Coordinate the entire lifecycle of card issuance, from receiving and processing card requests to ensuring timely production and delivery of physical cards to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external card vendors to manage card inventory levels, ensuring an adequate supply of cards to meet customer demands.
  • Address any issues related to card personalization, printing, and quality control to ensure that customers receive cards that meet our quality standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest card production technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the card issuance process.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and card network rules such as PCI DSS.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, data, and insights related to card operations and compliance efforts.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls that mitigate operational and compliance risks associated with card operations.

Vendor Management:

  • Maintain relationships with external partners and vendors involved in card production, delivery, fraud prevention tools, and other operational aspects.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance assessments, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address any operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar role
  • Good verbal communication skills – sincere and articulate.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Ability to provide accurate information.
  • Conversant with Microsoft office tools or Google suites.
