Job Summary

• The cashier at the traditional spa will be responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring that the spa’s daily financial operations run smoothly.
• The ideal candidate will be a trustworthy and customer-focused professional, providing excellent service while handling cash, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
• This role requires an individual with a strong attention to detail, a courteous demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced spa environment.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Greet clients warmly and assist them with billing inquiries.
• Provide information about the spa services and products as needed.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Transaction Management:

• Handle all cash, card, and digital transactions, including sales of services and products.
• Accurately process client payments and provide receipts for all transactions.
• Maintain the cash register and ensure it is balanced at the start and end of each shift.

Financial Reporting:

• Keep an accurate record of daily transactions and sales.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for the spa management team.
• Assist in end-of-day financial reconciliation and banking procedures.

Inventory and Product Sales:

• Assist in managing product inventory by tracking sales and alerting management when stock is low.
• Promote and upsell spa products and services to clients when appropriate.

Administrative Support:

• Ensure that client invoices are filed and organized for future reference.
• Maintain accurate records of all gift cards, promotions, and vouchers used during transactions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar financial role (minimum 2 years).
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and digital payment methods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
