Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Control System Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Description

• The Purpose of this role is to support Systems Design, configuration, and Testing, both at Site Services and the workshop.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• A good First Degree in Electrical &Electronics / Instrumentation, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, automation services, site service, and customer handling experience.
• Must be familiar with the use of required test equipment, including Field communicator (375 or 475), Digital Multimeter, Control panel, and associated wiring/mechanical tools.
• Understand Customer needs & expectations.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required. Other language skills are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and strong negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of strategic and quantitative analysis.
• Strong Customer Relationship Management.
• Proficiency in industrial automation and instrumentation software, including Schneider Electric, Yokogawa, ABB (ABV), and related platforms
• The candidate is expected to have both office and field experience.
