About the Job

• As a Data Analyst at Vale Finance Limited, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to uncover business trends, optimize financial processes, and support decision-making across multiple teams.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders from different departments, including finance, risk, product, and customer experience, to develop data-driven strategies that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Analysis: Utilize SQL, Power BI, and Excel to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Business Insights & Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business performance monitoring.
• Problem-Solving: Identify business challenges, analyze patterns, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of products, marketing campaigns, and financial operations.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance, operations, risk, and product teams to provide data-backed recommendations.
• Automation & Efficiency: Assist in automating data processes and improving reporting structures for scalability.
• Data Integrity & Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used for business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, or financial services is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong Power BI skills to build interactive dashboards and reports.
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Understanding of database structures and query optimization.
• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis (a plus but not mandatory).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify trends and patterns in large datasets.
