Job Position: DevOps Engineer

About the job

• We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives on automation, scalability, and reliability.
• You’ll be the backbone of our engineering team, ensuring our backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure run smoothly and securely in the cloud.
• If you love building CI/CD pipelines, managing AWS environments, and making sure applications scale without breaking, this is your chance.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for e-commerce at scale.
• Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
• Automating infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitoring system performance, uptime, and reliability.
• Collaborating with backend engineers to optimize APIs, databases, and microservices.
• Managing databases, caching, and load balancing to handle high-traffic applications.
• Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Enforcing security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).
• Experience with Node.js backend deployments (Express).
• Solid skills in Docker & Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and caching (Redis).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization.
• Bonus: Experience with e-commerce platforms or high-scale systems.
