Job Overview


  • We are seeking a highly motivated and competent Finance Executive to join our team and drive the expansion of our business.
  • Your primary responsibility is to manage the company’s financial records and transactions, including accounts payable and receivables.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliations and reviews of General Ledgers.
  • Monthly preparation of Depreciation Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
  • Monthly preparation of Prepayment Amortization Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
  • Monthly preparation of Accrued Expenses Amortization Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
  • Monthly Reconciliation of Underwriting unit Report of GPW and Unexpired Risks with GL,
  • preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
  • Monthly Reconciliation of Claim unit Report of Outstanding Claims Paid and Recoverable with GL, preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
  • Monthly Reconciliation of Reinsurance unit Report of Reinsurance Assets and Unearned
  • Reinsurance Commission with GL, preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
  • Responding to Internal Audit Queries.
  • Any other responsibility (s) as assigned by the ED, Finance & Corporate Services

Requirements

  • First Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive and related experience in relevant field
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant -ICAN
  • Stockbroking experience in a financial institution would be an added advantage.
