Job Summary


  • The Finance Manager will lead Pullus Africa’s financial functions.
  • The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of Pullus Africa, focusing on budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls.
  • This role will collaborate with leadership to drive financial strategies that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial management within a growing organization, preferably in the agribusiness, social enterprise or supply chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll processing, and transaction accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor spending, and recommend cost-saving measures based on variance analysis.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with leadership to align financial strategies with business goals and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Auditing & External Coordination: Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks to ensure timely audits and resolution of queries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with ICAN, ACCA certification preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of financial management experience in agribusiness, Supply Chain, FMCG, or a similar sector, with expertise in budgeting and reporting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
