Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to manage financial transactions, budgeting, and reporting within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations, improve cost efficiencies, and support overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial ledgers.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against the budget and provide variance reports.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and contracts.

Payroll & Taxation:

• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Handle tax filings, VAT remittances, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, pension contributions).

Financial Analysis & Risk Management:

• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 5 years of experience.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
