Job Position: Head, Financial Control

Job Location: Anambra

Job Summary

  • The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the strategic architect of the company's future.
  • The CFO is responsible for ensuring the company has the capital to grow, the resilience to survive market volatility, and a clear path to long-term profitability.

Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning & Capital Allocation:

  • Evaluate expansion strategies
  • Determine the capital structure of the organization to fund operations while minimizing the cost of capital.
  • Appraising and approving large-scale Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) for capacity and business expansion.

Risk Management & Hedging:

  • Commodity hedging, through managing the risk of price spikes in raw materials (e.g., copper, aluminum, and compounds) using financial derivatives, forecasting, and forward contracts.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years in senior finance roles (e.g., Financial Controller, Finance Director, or Head of Finance).
  • Professional Certifications: ACCA, CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
