Job Position: Head Information Technology

Job Location: Kano

Job Description

• We need an excellent HEAD IT who is very knowledgeable in Information Technology and computer systems because he is the final arbiter of IT Management in the organization and will also be in charge of advising corporate leadership about the need for timely investments in IT.
• They must have a solid technical background while at the same time be able to manage and motivate people. The ideal candidate must be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives.
• The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company.

Reporting:

• This role reports directly to the General Manager/CEO.

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop good Business strategy
• Train and develop Management Trainees and Interns
• Function as a Liaison between the Company and third-party contractors, suppliers and partners
• Build and strengthen client relationships
• IT Needs Identification
• Research and Development
• Formulating IP Strategies
• Leadership
• Establish and Sustain Relationships with Clients and Partners
• Ensure the Company Delivers Quality Services
• Maintain Company Policies
• Self-Management

Qualifications

• Over 10 years experience in ICT, Computer Science or Engineering, with 7 in an executive-level position.
• B.Sc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technology degree is required, including appropriate certifications
• An MBA or related Masters degree is desirable
