Job Description

  • A CEO in the environmental sector is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement with a strong background in supply chain management and procurement within the manufacturing.
  • The ideal candidate must be fluent in Hausa and have extensive experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in sourcing raw materials and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring reliable supply chains.
  • Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends, price changes, and new suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions, focusing on cost savings and quality.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, reducing waste and minimising costs.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of OND in relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement.
  • Language: Fluency in Hausa is required.

Salary
N150,000  monthly, with commission and accommodation provided.
