Job Descriptions

  • Headstone Consulting, seeks a Human Resources Consultant to join our collaborative organization. The Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for providing full HR support to Industry-diverse clients to ensure they are compliant with all employment laws.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented, is outgoing, comfortable in group settings, able to communicate with various levels of employees and will work well in a fast-paced, client centered environment.
  • While Human Resources experience is required, we will train on the nuances of our policies, procedures, and industry. We embrace an open office concept and have a highly collaborative and supportive workplace.

Job Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities for the Human Resources Consultant include:

  • Manage a book of business for 15-25 mid-size clients on all aspects of Human Resources
  • Support Senior Consultant with new client implementations
  • Conduct new hire orientations and paperwork
  • Develop handbooks, job descriptions, review policies and conduct salary surveys
  • Interface with employees on HR related issues, including, but not limited to payroll and benefit questions
  • Conduct HR trainings as necessary

Requirements for the Human Resources Consultant

  • A good University Degree in related field
  • 2 years of non-exempt level HR experience
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications required
  • Ability to identify potential problems and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Time management - Handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Work independently in a time sensitive environment
