Job Position: HRIS Manager

Job Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose


  • HRIS Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • The role combines strong HR systems expertise with hands-on project management capability to deliver HR technology initiatives that support business strategy, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

The JOB?

  • Own the end-to-end management of the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, system stability, security, and compliance.
  • Administer and optimize HRIS modules covering core HR, payroll, performance management, learning, and talent processes.
  • Serve as the primary HRIS subject matter expert and escalation point.
  • Lead HRIS-related projects including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process redesign initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive change management, user adoption, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Translate HR and business requirements into system configurations and technical solutions.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • HND/First degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information System, Human Resource, or a related field
  • Added advantage: SHRM?SCP/ SPHRi/ HRIS Technology Certification(s).

Experience:

  • 7–10 years’ progressive experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR  Technology roles.
  • Strong knowledge of people data management and system administration.
  • Added advantage: Proven experience leading end-to-end HRIS projects.

The Person should have

  • Proven experience in HR data management, validation, and system administration
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance, learning, employee data)
  • Proven experience in HR data management, validation, and system administration
  • Ability to configure, implement, and optimize HR systems
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance
  • Experience leading HRIS implementation or migration projects
  • Ability to manage system upgrades, testing, and change management
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement and automation of HR operations
