Job Summary


  • Oversee and drive the Group HSE strategy by deploying and implementing a proactive safety framework to cultivate a strong safety culture and minimize risks to people, property, and the environment across all Golden Fertilizer blending plants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a HSE policy that is consistent with the business strategy, drivers, and culture that supports productivity and success.
  • Conduct HSE training and awareness programs, conducts regular inspections and audits.
  • Develop and implement assurance mechanisms that routinely check the business unit risk profile is accurate.
  • Ensure sufficient control is in place and risk management is effective.
  • Analyze data to assess HSE performance, monitor the effectiveness of controls, evaluate performance factors, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement safety tours, gap audits, compliance audits, documentation audit.

Requirements
Education:

  • HND / B.Sc In Environmental Science or Engineering.
  • NEBOSH Certificate, other relative HSE Professional.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of cognate experience in FMCG/Oil and Gas.

Skills:

  • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Possess interpersonal Have strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards and stakeholders’ management abilities.
  • Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
