Job Position: Human Resource Business Partner

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary

  • The role of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) entails providing support for all the HR functions in order to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Recruit staff and ensure vacancies are filled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handle salary and payroll computation process
  • Maintain all employee files, documents (hard and soft copy) and ensure accurate and timely updates of employee records and reporting
  • Handle activities for staff medical insurance plan
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
  • Ensure new staff documentation and on-boarding are seamless and properly executed
  • Ensure leave plan completion, implementation and monitoring
  • Ensure disciplinary cases and outcomes are treated in line with the company’s policies
  • Counsel and support staff on HR policies, processes and practice whilst ensuring speedy resolution of complaints and conflict.
  • Visit assigned business offices/departments to monitor staff and facilitate effective internal communication
  • Handle any other assigned duties

Role Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in relevant field
  • 3 - 5 years’ Human Resource Management professional experience
  • HR certification with a reputable HR certifying body
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and diversity, performance management, respective employment laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
