Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Responsible for delivering quality support to HR compliance and general administrative support to the Human Resources department in day-to-day operations.
Principal Accountabilities
- Working with the Human Resources department, to develop the Human Resource strategy for INFINION derived from the corporate strategy.
- Support the management of internal employee database.
- Assist in payroll preparation, by providing relevant data, bank accounts, and other financial information.
- Assist in addressing any issues of workers when needed.
- Assist in updating job boards, screening forms, and handling applicants resumes.
- Coordinate assessment and interviews for prospective candidates.
- Conduct initial orientation to new employees.
- Assist the Human Resources team in organizing any employee-related or special events.
Requisite Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Law, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 or 2 years of work experience as an HR intern/ assistant or administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of staffing and general HR policies and compliance.
- Skilled with HR software, such as MS Office, database systems, HRIS, and ATS
- Understanding of job boards, updating job descriptions, contact details, and other employee information.

- Ability to support/ handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight timelines in a high-paced and dynamic environment

- Basic understanding of occupational safety and health, and national Labour laws.
