Job Description

• We are looking for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer for its solar business.
• This individual will be responsible for execution of all aspects of equipment delivery, installation and commissioning in line with company cost, time and quality objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform every electrical & mechanical work required to install the solar panels, inverter, batteries and accessories Including proper grounding, controls and all testing required.
• Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of solar power systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to installation & provide after-sales support to customers.
• Enlighten clients on the importance of solar energy and how to safely use solar equipment.
• Identify business opportunities for the company.
• Plan and develop operation and maintenance program for clients and internal use.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

Qualification

• B.Sc or HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physics and Electronics or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven work experience in Renewable Energy Industry.
• Excellent Electronics troubleshooting and resolution knowledge.
• Must be self-motivated, with an ability to balance multiple projects.
• Knowledge of PV system components, wiring practices, layout, low voltage AC design, medium voltage design, relay protection, metering, utility interconnection requirements etc.
• Works systematically, use time efficiently; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without direct supervision, work to deadlines.
• Ability to respond to client issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Strong multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
