We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Inventory Logistics Officer
Job Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Job Description
- The Inventory / Logistics Officers will be responsible for managing stock levels, coordinating supply chain operations, and ensuring efficient warehousing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDP/GMP), and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, record, and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure all inventory and logistics processes comply with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Generate inventory reports and support forecasting and procurement planning.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in accordance with GDP/GMP standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree,HND or OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or logistics, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with inventory software and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
