We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: IT Officer

Job Location: Jogana, Kano

Job Description
Hardware Maintenance & Support:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and repair hardware failures, replacing faulty components when necessary.
• Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of IT equipment to minimize breakdowns.
• Keep an inventory of all IT-related hardware and manage repairs or replacements.

Network Administration:

• Set up and maintain LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and Wi-Fi connections.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Configure and secure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure data security by implementing network access controls and security protocols.

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond to IT support requests promptly and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Maintain IT support logs and track recurring issues for long-term solutions.

Security & Data Protection:

• Ensure all IT systems are protected against cyber threats by updating antivirus and security software.
• Monitor network activity for any unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Implement data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.

System Upgrades & Documentation:

• Recommend and implement upgrades to improve IT efficiency and security.
• Document IT configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
