Job Summary

• We are seeking dedicated and innovative Java / JavaScript Developers to join our Expert Development Team.
• The overarching requirement of the role will be to build, improve and deliver critical banking systems supporting our high end banks and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of software that delivers new features, improves on existing functionality, and generates early value.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and provide operational support to our systems
• Write and deploy clean, scalable, testable, and secure code
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Perform front- and back-end development.
• Integrate software components with third-party programs
• Follow Agile practices in solution delivery.
• Support existing clients and play a major role in projects.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess minimum of an HND qualification with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Java, its quirks, and workarounds
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Good understanding of {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.}}
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Java Core (version 8+)
• Experience of developing within a microservice architecture
• Web Services using RESTful APIs
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework - Good knowledge of Developing in Spring with Hibernate
• Agile Environment.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
