The company was founded in 1981 and rebranded AOS Orwell in 2011 following the merger between Africa Oilfield Services Limited and Orwell International.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Fabrication Coordinator
Job Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
The ideacandidate wilpossess as follows:
- Meets with customers to scope of work, ascertain requirements, agree on specification etc. and compiles estimates of time, materials and labour, and related costs and provides appropriate feedback such as estimates and parts sketches as required to the workshop supervisor.
- Maintains an ongoing awareness of appropriate safety procedures on the shop and takes remediaactions as required. Ensure fabrication activities comply with NLNG safety protocol, regulations, waste management, live saving rules and industry wide safety standard
- Plan and create fabrication schedules based on urgency and service leveagreement ensuring resources (Material/Man/Machine) are available for the execution of activities as at when due.
- Maintains accurate records of activity schedules, fabrication activities, AARs, Safety issues, quality issues, QC records, welders’ performance records, ITPs, qualification of personneon the workshop floor e.t.c
- Provides technicaexpertise and experience to solve problems, liaise with the assurance team and other stakeholders to accommodate changes and improve the quality of work delivery. Inspects completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Participates in shop planning, work scheduling and loading, materials and equipment acquisition and related activities to promote productivity and deliver finished products within Service LeveAgreement (SLA) timeframes. Reacts to and initiates remediameasures in response to unforeseen circumstances and other outside factors.
- Assists with administrative processing (ordering materials, solving billing problems, initiating queries, legadocumentation, construction permits, etc.) to enhance the customer service and efficiency of the shop.
Qualification and Certification
- HND/BSc in Engineering with minimum of 5 years experience in high volume fabrication shop floor with 2 years in planning and scheduling Or Trades certificate (Welding/Machinist) with a minimum 10 year’s experience in the trade (journey man) and a minimum of 3 years as a workshop supervisor.
- Certification in CSWIP/AWS, ASNT and Certified Scheduling Technician (CST)
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Considerable knowledge of trades and equipment typicaof a large-scale fabrication shop environment – Welding, Machinist, etc.
- Knowledge of various materials, equipment, and processes and the ability to effectively utilize same to solve complex customer problems and requirements, read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform calculations required by the design and estimation process.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply acceptable standards of materials, design, and quality in the fabrication process.
- Ability to prepare accurate estimates of time, materials, etc. in support of customer queries, work tendering, production scheduling and related activities and to source supplies, services and other resources.
- Ability to adapt to and implement changes in work priorities in support of fabrication shop productivity and to ensure that appropriate safety precautions and work process procedures are observed.

2.) Technical Sales Manager
Job Location: Bonny Island, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Map customer organization across all functions, C&P, Projects, Operations and management teams
- Identify sales leads and opportunities through in-depth knowledge of customer activities and plans.
- Communicate customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business system or processes.
- Possess technical knowledge around on Operations & Maintenance, rotating equipment, automation and Electrical & Instrumentation
- Apply technical knowledge of business unit products and services to customer needs and capture and qualify sales leads and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity pipeline for assigned customers specially around the brownfield and greenfield project opportunities
- Develop close relationships with other major contractors in Bonny and generate business opportunities on the projects awarded to them by NLNG
- Work with on ground O&M team to mine opportunities through existing contracts
- Plan customers’ calls and make regular visit to customers.
- Maintain customer relationship management data including customer profiling, organization structure, visit reports, stakeholder mapping and KPIs.
- Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plan
- Introduce new OEM products and services verticals to NLNG teams.
- Organise technical presentation/seminars for TSMs and OEMs’ SMEs to NLNG teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competition products and services.
- Monitor pricing structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes to pricing strategy.
- Provide support to receivables management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical.
- 8 - 10 years of sales experience and involvement in tender commercial processes.
- Experience and Exposure to Energy Sector (Oil & Gas, Power Industry)
- Experience of working at NLNG Bonny preferred
- Good sales skills and Business acumen
- Ability to build customer relationship.
- Presentation skills and ability to convey value and products and services to the customers.
- Good technical knowledge of products and services, ability to listen to the customer’s desires and concerns and recommend solutions to meet customer needs.
- Goal-oriented with ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment.
- Willing and able to work long hours necessary to meet deadlines
- Willing and able to travel to locations as required to execute job responsibilities.

3.) Costing and Estimation Engineer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate. Basic knowledge of VFD, PLC, HMI and automation products is a must.
- Meeting customers, Consultants and Electrical Contractors toward brand engagement and engaging with Project Engineers for clarifications on Bid documents/enquiries.
- Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work and enter computer estimating system, review computer printout for accuracy and completeness
- Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials and completeness with plans and specifications
- Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools and supplies.
- Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents including system architecture, technical and commercial submission.
- After the successful bid at project turnover, meet with Project Management to fully explain the estimate, the scope of work, quotes and offer aspects for the successful transition of the project.
- Maintain files of working documents as a backup for estimated figures
- Knowledge of Pricing of competitors products in Nigeria especially in Electrical Panel
- Building necessary relationships with electrical and power systems OEMs
- Generate Market intelligence and paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry and preparing strategies to counteract.
- Support panel building activities in Port Harcourt to ensure that quality of the products conforms to Specs.
Qualification and Skills
- Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronics
- Between 5-10 years of working level experience in Costing of Electrical products, Panels & Switch gears and Solutions.
- Thorough Knowledge of Power and Control systems in Design, Configuration and generating SLDs and Drawings.
- Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, learns new programs quickly.
- Experience in third party interfaces, Industrial Networking, Safety Concepts
