We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:

1.) General Technician

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Directly reports to: Team Lead, Admin & Logistics

Job Summary


  • The General Technician is responsible forthe routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of FITC’s office building and facilities.
  • The role covers electrical works, mechanical support, and general facility upkeep, including lighting systems, air conditioners, fans, elevators, and related infrastructure.
  • The position ensures a safe, functional, and conducive work environment for staff and visitors.

Facilities & Building Maintenance:

  • Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs of office facilities, including lighting systems, fans, air conditioners, switches, sockets, and control panels.
  • Replace faulty bulbs, fittings, switches, and electrical accessories promptly.
  • Ensure proper functioning of elevators by reporting faults, supporting technicians, and monitoring repairs.

Electrical Works:

  • Diagnose and fix electrical faults such as failed power supply, faulty wiring, and damaged electrical installations.
  • Carry out minor electrical installations, rewiring, and adjustments in line with safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and guidelines.

Equipment Servicing & Repairs:

  • Support the servicing and basic maintenance of office equipment and utilities.
  • Liaise with external technicians and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitor functionality of generators, power supply points, and related infrastructure.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
  • Maintain maintenance schedules and promptly escalate major technical issues.

Health, Safety & Environment:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
  • Support compliance with workplace safety and facility management standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain basic maintenance logs and records of repairs and servicing activities.
  • Provide periodic updates to the line manager on facility conditions and maintenance needs.

Other Duties:

  • Support office setup, rearrangement, and maintenance during relocations or renovations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Corporate Services or Line Manager.

Requirements
Education Requirement:

  • Technical School Certificate, OND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation, Mechanical Works, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of practical and hands-on experiencein facility maintenance, electrical works, or general technical services.

2.) Internal Audit & Compliance Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Head, Internal Audit & Compliance

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a highly objective and detail-oriented Internal Audit & Compliance Officer to strengthen our risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • The successful candidate will add value to the organisation by applying a systematic and disciplined approach to internal audit, compliance, and enterprise risk management, while ensuring financial reliability, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage the full internal audit cycle, including operational, financial, and compliance audits.
  • Develop internal audit scope and contribute to the annual audit plan.
  • Review and evaluate accounting records, processes, data, and prior audit reports.
  • Prepare clear audit reports, findings memoranda, and recommendations for Management.
  • Act as an independent and objective advisor to Management on risk, control, and governance matters.
  • Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and recommend risk mitigation and cost-saving measures.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor implementation of management actions.
  • Plan, design, and implement enterprise-wide risk management processes.
  • Conduct risk identification, assessment, evaluation, and reporting across the organisation.
  • Support compliance audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Promote risk awareness through staff education, training, and advisory support.
  • Maintain continuous professional development on audit standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, or related roles, in a financial institution & financial service sector

Professional Certification (Required):

  • ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or any other relevant professional certification.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Sound judgement, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent report writing, data analytics and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance practices.
  • High level of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

3.) Team Lead, Strategy & Governance

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Team Lead, Strategy & Governance to drive business growth, lead complex advisory engagements, and strengthen our governance and strategy offerings.

Role Overview

  • The Team Lead, Strategy & Governance will be responsible for growing the Advisory business by identifying client needs, developing relevant products and services, and leading the execution of strategy, governance, and transformation projects.
  • The role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and the ability to manage subject matter experts and consultants across multiple engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development initiatives and expand FITC Advisory’s client portfolio.
  • Lead strategy development and implementation engagements for clients.
  • Deliver board evaluation, board recruitment, and board/strategy retreat assignments.
  • Provide governance and strategy advisory services to boards, executives, and SMEs.
  • Scope, plan, and oversee the delivery of strategy, governance, and transformation projects.
  • Manage and coordinate subject matter experts and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Support clients on corporate transformation and organisational effectiveness initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;Master’sdegree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 – 8years of work experience, with at least 5 years directly relevant to strategy, governance advisory, and team leadership.
  • Proven experience leading strategy and governance engagements.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, proand stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow advisory business and manage client relationships.
