We are recruiting to fill the following position below:

1.) Logistics First Line Supervisor II

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description
Main Functions:

  • Logistics First Line Supervisor in Aviation, Marine, Shore Base, Ground Transport, Camp and Catering and does not represent any specific job description.
  • Supervises employees, may include coordination of contractors, to deliver safe, reliable and profitable Logistics in assigned operating units (aviation, marine, shore base, ground transportation and camp services).
  • Demonstrates applicable Logistic skills appropriate to job position.
  • Typical Job Positions may include: Logistics First Line Supervisor (FLS), Aviation FLS, Marine FLS (e.g., Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Procurement Manager), Shore Base FLS, Ground Transport FLS and may cover some or all of the responsibilities listed below.

Task and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level1tasks and responsibilities, a Level2:

  • OverseealllogisticsoperationsatDS1,DS2/CPF
  • On site contract representative for vehicle lease, in field logistics and infrastructure O&M contracts.
  • Conduct audits on the contractor and own executed logistics operations, follow up and close out findings.
  • Provide transportation and lifting and hoisting support services to operations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc in Engineering, Construction Management, or other technical Degree
  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Strong knowledge of logistics standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Broad Supply Chain knowledge
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Behavioral Skills: effective communication, the courage of conviction, sound decision-making, risk management
  • Functional Skills: SSHE management - operations and maintenance, operations planning / improvement, maintenance management, logistics, general marine operations

2.) Materials Management Advisor I

Job Location: Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • The Materials Management Engineer (MME) supports or leads the implementation of project materials purchasing and management. This may include maintaining responsibility and/or oversight for planning materials management strategies, purchasing, expediting, inspection, logistics, customs, as well as overseeing field materials management (transport, receipt, storage, maintenance, allocation, issuing, and scrap/surplus disposal) when assigned to a fabrication yard or construction site.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Prepares Initial Materials Management Strategy, including procurement strategy for assigned project portfolio
  • Identifies materials management (MM) issues or concerns and develops project specific MM processes, strategies, and philosophies aligned to project's objectives
  • Collaborates with Construction Logistics group, MM Sr. Advisor and MM Manager on project MM and Logistics vulnerabilities, issues, and opportunities
  • Develops MM deliverables (MM Strategy / Plan, Purchasing Strategy / Plan, and initial Long Lead Equipment (LLE) list) incorporating project goals as well as any local content considerations and client alignment (JOA/PSA) objectives
  • Works with the MM Manager, Contracts Engineer (CE) and Business Manager to develop a Functional Engagement Plan for the project(s)
  • Leads or supports Long Lead Equipment (LLE) strategy development, identification, bid, negotiation and purchase order (PO) execution
  • Supports CE in the development of all MM portions of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document and ensures MM strategies and plans are reflected in tender documents
  • Leads or supports development of the project specific MM RACI
  • Participates in internal kick-off meeting(s) with Company personnel to ensure awareness of project specific MM requirements in the contract and reviews project specific MM requirements of Category Plan (CP)
  • Supports the development of Early Project Plan (EPP) and Production Planning (PP) document development with project team for MM and Purchasing sections
  • Leads or supports implementation planning and initiation of project specific MM processes and practices for purchasing, expediting, inspection, logistics, and importation activities
  • Develops and implements Surplus Disposition Plan for any Company owned surplus/scrap, engaging Investment Recovery group as necessary
  • Ensures proper execution of the Preservation Plan
  • Communicates to Project Team (PT) and leadership on MM activities, progress and issues including timely schedule and cost status and impacts
  • Advocates capital efficiency in the implementation and execution of MM activities applying established best practices as appropriate
  • Leads or supports the transition of MM activities from the engineering office to the construction location
  • Ensures execution of Field Materials Management in accordance with the Project Plans (Materials Management Plan, and Logistics Plan)
  • Oversees movement of materials from delivery to marshaling yard / Site Storage / Site Laydown
  • Ensures appropriate receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, allocation, preservation, issuance, and surplus/scrap disposal processes
  • Oversees coordination of supplier Technical Service Representatives during installation and commissioning
  • Ensures timely handover of special tools, capital, and 2 year operating spares and any equipment first fill requirements
  • Reviews, endorses and oversees the implementation of MM plans, procedures and processes
  • Reviews purchase orders and/or purchase order template to ensure proper flow down of prime contract T&Cs
  • Monitors interfaces associated with execution of all areas of MM activities in compliance with all project requirements
  • Coordinates and oversees heavy modules transportation planning and execution, consulting with Construction Logistics personnel as necessary
  • Assists in development of close out plans and reporting

Skills and Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Experience in Materials Management preferred
  • Broad understanding of project execution and materials management principles, theories, and concepts
  • Willing to business travel or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
  • Owner/Operator experience in project management roles preferred.

3.) Inspection Advisor II

Job Location: Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Promote safety within the area of specialty
  • Provide a very high level of quality expertise in inspection disciplines such as rotating equipment, instrumentation and electrical equipment, fixed equipment or Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) (e.g. NDE Level III for instance)
  • Advise on all quality matters associated with procurement and installation of equipment
  • Manage interfaces and coordination between Suppliers, Contractors, Quality Supervision and other Project Team disciplines (e.g. Engineering, Construction)
  • Lead development and execution of detailed oversight program for high criticality activities or critical equipment inspections.
  • Monitor production processes and perform surveillance activities in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Coordinate and oversee activities of 3rd party and/or Contractor source inspectors
  • Perform surveillance activities, quality inspection activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Provide direction to suppliers on quality management. Review and evaluate Contractor's and Suppliers' quality documents for accuracy and adequacy
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), final inspection release activities, review of supplier Quality Control documents and support closure of punch list items
  • Keep Quality supervision updated with status of quality issues

Task and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership/expertise in quality inspection activities, make judgments and decisions the technical and physical adequacy of associated equipment and systems
  • Provides input to and validate Contractor's / Supplier procedures for inspection and for testing/examining components
  • Generate, review and revise operational procedures for inspection and test equipment
  • Utilize Quality Management expertise to perform audits and/or assessments of Contractors / Supplier implementation of inspection activities and document deficiencies
  • Perform supplementary inspections and verifications in accordance with the requirements of the Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) and the Project Surveillance Plan(s)
  • Interface with Quality and Engineering disciplines to provide inspection and testing expertise in the development and review of drawings, procedures and Project plans
  • Support project with the development of method statements and/or examination technique recommendations for equipment inspections; travel to construction and/or fabrication site when requested to review and make technical advice for compliance with specified requirements
  • Coordinate activities of 3rd party and Contractor's inspectors within discipline, in conjunction with Supplier's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team
  • Provide early warning of potential quality problems and the expertise to avoid/resolve them

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Engineering or Science preferred with 10-20 years of experience
  • Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of procurement or construction activities
  • Manufacturing, fabrication or construction experience related to project scope
  • Recent experience in selected inspection discipline
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support

4.) Waste Management Coordinator II

Job Location: Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Oversee the planning, coordination and monitoring of solid and liquid waste management for the Upstream / Downstream Operations environment.
  • Supervise the day-to-day implementation of waste services provision by 3rd party contractors, and provide timely direction and support to ensure Operations waste requirements are met, and overall conformance to Company waste management principles and philosophies is achieved.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level1 tasks and responsibilities, Level2:

  • Ensure that correct client standards and waste disposal procedures are undertaken by client staff and contractors, such as identifying waste materials, safety guideline training, and conducting risk assessments on hazardous materials.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national laws with regards to safe handling, storage and disposal of waste, whilst implementing strategies to reduce waste.

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Applied Science, Environmental Management, or equivalent
  • Safety leadership qualifications or certifications
  • Incident investigation training (i.e.Taproot).

Experience:

  • 10 - 25 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in environmental management and /or waste management, with remote experience preferred
  • Experience within a large corporation or complex organizational setting
  • Experience in the operation of waste facilities (waste processing equipment and landfills)
  • Experience in the environmental monitoring of waste facilities and activities (including water, air, noise emissions).
  • Experience supervising contractors within a dynamic, challenging and/or unpredictable environment

Competencies:

  • Good working knowledge of landfill operational practices, and waste handling, treatment and disposal processes
  • Strong knowledge of environmental aspect.
